Only one other movie, I can recall, have the author trying THIS hard to be Jananese. That one movie being Final Fantasy A+. It is really hard to connect with a movie when you can't help but think that the author is one of those weird anime nerds in the back of your one art class. The ones that try soooo hard to be Japanese that they actually bother to learn the language and speak it.

I don't know if anyone has told you this yet, and if they haven't you really need to hear it. You are not Japanese, you weren't born there, that isn't part of your history, and none of these things are part of YOUR culture. Why do people like you insist on putting things in your movies that you really can't relate to other than you spend all day watching Yu-Gi-Oh and Dragon Ball Z. It's annoying when an author trys to portray themselves diffrent than they really are.

You are a talented artist and your animation is definately above average, just try to use that talent in something that is actually productive and true to your real nature. Just realize that Anime isn't part of what you actually know and grew up with. It is the Japanese's thing and it should stay that way.

You fail for the following reasons.....

1. You are not from Detroit....Heck, I used to live there....I'm less of a failure at this than you are and I haven't attempted.

2. This is was obviously made after watching the Particle Man movie that was featured on the front page.

3. You own a Papa Roach Poster.....

Next time don't make an ass of yourself infront of a camera and submit it for others to see.....You're only supposed to sumbit movies of other people doing such things, otherwise people won't like you. So sad :(

Why did you make a movie consisting of a trio of scottish homosexuals dancing to a pop song made popular by an SNL skit, a rap song by Snoop Dog, and some screaming rock? You make no sense at all. If this was attempt at humor, you aren't funny. You can't draw. You can't animate. Stop now.

I really have a hard time standing ganster rap, it's utter crap that is spreading a negative message. It has no place in popular society, yet has somehow made it's way onto our televisions and on our radios. The only people who listen to it are middleclass wannabe tough middleschool students and bad people who actually do the things described in the songs. Your movie brought that idea and made it funny. It may have not been made very well, but it was funny and I agree with the idea behind it. Sooooooooo, go you.

"Failure."

Well........This movie was quite a dissapointment. I've been waiting quite a while for someone to make a quality Half-Life 2 fan movie, and it seems I still have to wait.

Although the drawings were nice, the animation consisted of little more than simple tweening. You seem to have a very stylistic way of drawing people, which is good.........Just not for fan movies.

The biggest let down was the plot, and since it seems to be a "comedy movie", the humor. The story has nothing to do with the actual game other than the exsistance of ingame characters and some rather nonfunny jokes. The jokes given were badly done and timed, not to mention stupid.

I could go on to critique the rest like the sound and things, but I think that is well represented by the scores I gave them. To sum this review up I'd like to say, If you are going to make a Half-Life 2 movie, please don't make it a comedy. It doesn't fit with the game at all, it's a serious game that would be done better justice with a serious fan movie.

The fact that Kerry owns a gun, and actually recently went out hunting (Obviously just for more publicity), makes his whole fight against guns a joke. Also, don't tell me you don't care about politics, that just sounds like you're too scared to argue back. Vote Bush.
